American Studies/Gender Studies undergraduate student looking to interview self-identified queer Latin@s on topics of on queer identity, race, ethnic culture, sexuality, and individuals’ overall experience/story.
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California majoring in the American Studies & Ethnicities and Gender Studies programs. I am seeking participants for a research study/project with self-identified queer Latin@s who currently live in the United States. I’m looking to interview people of any gender and sexual identity, of ANY age, of any socio-economic background, and of any physical and mental ability status (as long as you identify as queer AND Latin@). Interviews in this study will focus on the following topics:
· queer identity, including self-acceptance and personal histories;
· race, especially the interactions of race and queer identity;
· cultural/ethnic/familial experiences and the intersections with queer identity, and;
· sexuality, including sexual identity and sexuality as a queer Latin@ individual.

In order to participate in this study, you must identify as queer AND Latin@. Interviews will be conducted using voice chatting or phone call features of Skype/Google Voice or simply over the phone.
